There is a large Jewish Plachta family from Lodz descended from Nosson/Nathan Plachta. We currently know of descendants of two of this sons: Daniel (my great-grandfather), whose descendants are in England and the US; and Jacob, whose descendants are in England, the US, and Israel. There were probably a whole host of other brothers that we didn't know about. Our family also used the names Plicht, Pleeth and Plight.

Err, Stanislav, Sofia, Joseph, Antoni, Elibieta, Helena, Jedwiga.
They are all my great Uncles and Aunties I think, but some have died or got married so They might not all be called Plachta.
I think the parents were Maria Lesniowska ( died 19th feb 1889) and Wladystan Plachta (died 18th Feb 1940).
