Yes this is my husbands Family He is the grandson of Andrew Placher .I have quit a bit of info on this family

Thank You Lynn from answering my post. Are you a relative of the Placher's listed on the family tree maker. I believe this is the same family as mine, only my great grandmother has been ommitted. The reason I believe this is that: Jessie Placher had a son Martin Clifford Placher had married a Meliis Gifford in the home of Rev. Perry Simpson, Stoddard Co., MO. Perry Simpson was my great uncle, son of Minnie Adelia Placher Simpson and Rigdon Homer Simpson. Just last night I found a picture in my mother's photo album of Cliff & Melissa Placher (ages 79 & 76). Married 56 years.
