Question about Place, Please, Pleace from Huntington LI

Surnames: Place, Please, Pleace
I found a book called
CEMETERY INSCRIPTIONS
FROM
HUNTINGTON, LONG ISLAND,
NEW YORK
Copied
by
Josephine G. Frost
(Mrs. Sarnuel Knapp Frost)
Aug. 1911

I "think" this has many of my family line listed in it, but I have my Morris Place spelled as Place, but this book has it spelled as Pleace. It seems to have several people that I thought were all from the same family, is it an error in spelling when the graves were transcribed or is My Morris Place really Morris Pleace? Can anyone help me sort this out? I'm just confused because this book has different spellings of Place for people who I thought were father and son.

They are the same person whether it's spelled Place, Pleas, Pleace, Please, etc. Morris Pleas/Place was my 4th great uncle.

Morris was my 4th great Uncle. His brother, William, was my 4th great Grandfather. Have any males in your family participated in the FTDNA project? Do you know Michael Place? He is also related to Morris Pleas/Place.

Hi Judy,

Currently don't have anyone involved with the FTDNA project. Do not know Michael Place. Do you know if Morris was his Grandfather or Uncle?
