Coming from Santiago, Chile, my family has always taken pride in being a "Pizarro!" "a direct decendant of Franciso Pizarro". I don't know if it's true or not but I am curious to see.
My dad's name is Luis Fernando Pizarro. His father's name was Manuel Fernando Pizarro. I have 2 uncles named Miguel Angel and Jose Manuel. My grandmother's name is Emma Graciela Diaz-Tapia. My dad came to this country in 1967 and settled in Florida before moving north to New Jersey. I'd be interested in any links at all to anyone related.

Proud Pizarro,
I am intrigued, perhaps we may be related. My grandmother is from Santiago, Chile. Her name is Rosa Inez Diaz Pizarro, She passed away in Chile in 1987 she was around 80 years old. My family immigrated in 1961 to north jersey!
