Hello Julia, My paternal grandmother was Ana Pizano. Her father was Julian Pizano from Italy (Venice I believe). He married Felipa Estrada. Ana had a brother named Dario Pizano and I believe a nephew named Julian Pizano. Ana was born in Colima, Colima, Mexico. My name is Clemencia Mendez de Leon and I live in California. cesdeleon at sbcglobal dot net

I am not sure if we are related, we might be. I have lots of relatives that still live in Guanajuato Mexico. My name is jesse and i live in Colorado. My Grandparents had lots of kids, and so did my great grandparents. I know that some of my uncles moved from our small town and were never heard from again, so it might be possible.

My great grandmother was Pilar Pizana or maybe Pizano. She had my great grandfather (Jose Pisana Herrera) in Guanajuato, Mexico. Pilar immigrated to the US in the early 1900s. And buried in California. One of her sons Juan Pizano Herrera is buried in Santa Maria, CA. Does any of this sound familiar?
Yes. My grandparents were Juan and Eliza Herrera. Buried in Santa Maria, CA. My dad was Francisco Hernandez Herrera.
Wow, it sounds like we have a match! If this is right, then my great grandfather and your grandfather were brothers. There is a Francisco Herrera buried in San Diego. Is that your father?
Today I received a photo of Eliza from a relative in San Diego . It is dated Dec 16 - 81. It has an inscription on the back to my grand aunt Angelita and says the photo is 'de mi mom, tu tia Eliza H Herrera'.

My dad wrote a family tree before he passed away. Francisco Herrera is buried in Los Osos Ca.
