My maiden name is Pizana, I am originally from Michigan and my family still lives in MI. The Pizana last name is very unique. My ancestors are hispanic and come from Texas. My father's name was Arnulfo Pizana and he was born in Webb, TX . His family lived in Findlay Ohio when he was a teenager. I know that he had brothers and sisters. His parents name were Jose Pizana and his mother was Tomasa Garcia. If there are any relatives out there, please respond to this message. Thanks Maria

I live in Kansas now because my husband was transferred here by his job. Miranda,

You are quite right our last name is very unique. I come from a family of ten children. My mom was married to my dad Arnulfo Pizana. His parents were Jose Pizana and Thomasa Garcia from Laredo, Texas.

Arnulfo, my dad came to Michigan as a migrant farm worker before he went to work in the auto factory.

My mom and dad married in the early 1950's.
I know that my dad had sisters still in Laredo, Tx.
I just started doing genealogy on my dad's side of the family
and so far have been running into brick walls.

thanks, maria
