thank you so much for all this..I had thought all along that my grandmother's parents parents were Swan's but I did n't know for sure. All of Nettie's and William Elbert Sr.'s Children are deceased. William (Bill) died in January 1976, Mattie in 1984 or 85 not really for sure, My mother Mary Hazel in 1995, my dad Frank Wilkins in 1994, Bonner 1997 and Joseph (Joe) in 1998. You have my grandmother listed as being born in Texas from all accounts I have seen and read she was born in Louisiana. My mom was born in Nacogdoches, Mattie was born in Oklahoma, and I think the rest were born around Nacogdoches I am not positive.
Do you by any chance have any information on the Swans? If so I would appreciate it if I may see it.
Thanks again,
Betty Wilkins Flowers

I have a little information on Milo Pixley from Burke County in ND. He has a daughter living there and he had a brother named Edwin who lived in the same area. If you are interested in what I have let me know.

Hi Avon

Thanks so much for the info that you have submitted. I am helping a good friend of mine in Denver lookup his genealogy. He is a descendant of Lafayette I and II. Do you have any scans or photos of these men or their wives?

Many thanks

Do you happen to have date of birth and death on Mark Pennywitt and his wife? Also, my gggrandfather, John Prather, who married Margaret Pennywitt (granddaughter of Mark) are supposed to be buried in Manchester. Do you happen to know the name of the cemetery or how many cemeteries are in Manchester? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Caroline,
I am Marcia Pixley, your cousin. Jerry, your father and my father Thomas were brothers. I remember Pam, and Jane, but you were pretty young last time I was in contact. If you are still looking, email me back. I have somewhat of a family tree that my mother put together and I have photos of Pam and Jane from camping trips together.

Frannie, I have a lot of information on Arthur James (or James Arthur) Pixley b-Nov 6, 1862 in Hyde Park, Lamoile, Vermont. He appears to have been married to Cora Elzina Smith ( "Wisconsin Marriages 1836-1930")and appears to have had a daughter Stella Pixley. He lived in La Fayette, Chippewa, WI (1885)and lived in Badger Mills, WI. He had other wives and children. However, Stella is my great grandmother and I cannot find evidence of her birth. Her obit says b-Jan 22, 1892 in Wisconsin, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Pixley.

Wow! This is quite extensive! Can someone tell me if there are any records of LB's slaves (if he had any). I am from Edgefield county and the only Pixley's I have been able to find are LB and Stephen Pixley and I believe that maybe I'm linked to one of them. It looks like LB left Edgefield to move to Louisiana and I saw his name listed in a few court cases but it also listed that he was no longer around for each one. I really want to know how my family ended up in Edgefield since I can only go so far with little to no slave records. Thank you to any of you who can offer me any information!
