I might have a connection. I'm also doing research for my sister-in-law's family. Here is what I have:

Wencelaus Pivonka (b. 3 Mar 1891 in Montpelier, Kewaunee Co., Wisconsin, died October 1971 in Pound, Marinette Co., Wisconsin) He married Agnes Kust (b. 2 Sep 1892 in Wisconsin, died January 1980 also in Pound) on 25 Nov 1913 in Wisconsin. He had 9 children: Mary, Joseph, Anna, Helen, Emily, Julia, Antone, Ladislaus, and Josephine.

Hi, I think Wenzeslus Pivonka is my great grandfather. Much of the info you presented is similar to what I have but also a bit different. My grandfather, Michael, left home very young, so it has been hard to gather info for that side of the family. Here is a bit of what I have:
We knew my ggrandfather as Wencil (b1852 in Bohemia) married to Ledvina (Anna) Sokup (b1850 in Bohemia). Children were Michael, George, James, Mary, Netty, Annie, Elizabeth, Suzanne and Wencil. My info is largely undocumented, mostly from the 1880 census and our own family records.

I would love to get more info - feel free to contact me direct at gfs@lgl.com

Gary,

I would love to share with you what I have. Most of the information I have came from my first cousin - [whose mother was Elizabeth Pivonka who married William Roznowski]. various cemetary records, obits, and census records. I will create a PDF of the report and email it to you at the address you listed. My research begins with Wencil and Anna.

I found a birth record for Wencil, he lived near domazlice. There are two Wencil Pivonka's one is 1848, ours is the 1851 one. His parents are Maria Cisler and Mallhous Pivonka, I have not been able to figure out the village, it is the german name, and hard to read.
