Becky, this is an older post so I don't know if you will see this or not. If so, I am seeking any info on James Pitzer, son of Carey Pitzer who married Demarius Padgett. I am descended from their daughter, Cornelia who married Hugh Allen in Monroe County, VA(WV). I see there are many messages on this thread, so if anyone else reads this and has any info on James, his ancestors, or for Demarius (Demaris) Padgett of Campbell County, VA., I would be most grateful! I am gathering that James is the son of Carey, and Carey is son of Ulrich, and Ulrich is son of Harel from Germany. I do not have any information about Demarius except the note that she was in the household of a minister named Presley B. Smith. Also, I do not have the burial place for James or Demarius.
