You mention that your Pitner branch ended up in Tennessee. Do you have a Becca (Rebecca) Ann Pitner in any of your files? I have hit a brick wall on this one. I can go as far back as my 2nd great grandfahter who James Pitner who married Ellen Thomas. Family lore has it that James was born out of wedlock to Becca Ann. I can find to nothing to prove or disprove this theory. The only record of Becca Ann I can find is that of her marriage to John Baker in 1865. Any help you can provide would be great.
