I have something on Henry Yonge who married a Mary Ann Pirner - one of Mary Ann's sisters was an ancestor of mine. Mary Ann and Henry Yonge married at St.George's, Hanover Square in London on 17th February 1798. Henry was an army officer who may have been born in Georgia U.S.A., but matriculated at Oriel College, Oxford on 14th May 1794. Described as a spendthrift, he sold the Beckbury Estate, perhaps including Caynton House, to William Horton. He died on 6th February 1833.
Mary Ann's father was William Casper Pirner, probably a naturalized Hanoverian who was Joint Apothecary to their Majesties. His premises were in Arlington Street, Westminster. He died 'overseas' (from a British point of view) on 12th January 1836, allegedly aged 99.
Mary Ann's mother was Ann, illegitimate daughter of Sir Thomas Robinson 1st Baronet of Rokeby in Yorkshire. She was born on 9th August 1754 and was dead by 1825. Ann Robinson married William Casper Pirner at St.George's, Hanover Square on 4th September 1774.
