Susannah Pipes married to Samuel Carter vs Reuben Shores?

I have found a possible discrepancy within different family trees online. I've always seen that Susannah Pipes (b.1738, m. 1771 to Samuel Carter in Morristown, NJ with four known children from 1771-1780, d. 1830) was the sister of Capt John Pipes and daughter of John Pipes Sr.(b. 1715) and Susannah Hathaway. Now I'm DNA matching to several people with THEIR family tree showing a Susannah Pipes, daughter of John Pipes, Sr or ?, born in Wilkes County, NC anywhere from 1728-1736, married in Surry,NC on 6 Feb 1746 to Reuben Shores with numerous children born from 1746 to 1776 and dying in 1806. Now the actual marriage bond for Reuben Shores ONLY shows him married to a "Susannah" with NO last name mentioned. Is there ANY proof that the Reuben Shore "Susannah" is a Pipes? With the Samuel Carter "Susannah" KNOWN to be in Morristown, NJ due to a Court case against her in 1771, and a subsequent marriage in NJ in 1771---it seems unlikely that the Susannah that Reuben Shores married is Susannah Pipes, sister of Capt John Pipes. Any thoughts? (and why would I be DNA matching these persons that I can't find any other "hints" or family links?
