I am very interested in finding out more
about this family. I am especially interested
in Elisabeth Fontaine b. 1819-1820, d.
29 Dec 1892 for she was married to Pierre dit
Beauregard Jarret 15 Sept 1849 Ste Marie,
Marieville, Rouville, PQ. I am having
difficulty reading the parish records on file
at our local Family History Center. How can
I find out more? Her father is Pierre dit
La fontaine dit Pion Fontaine b. 1789 p.?,
d. 14 Dec 1867 Bourbonnais, Kankakee, IL.
I have a cousin who has the death record in
Kankakee of Pierre Beauregard, Elisabeth's
husband. I live in California. You may
email me at irvcheri@pacbell.net
Thank you, Cheri.

Hi have a lot of information about Pierre Pion-Fontaine and Charlotte Bourgeois. his daughter was born in Contrecoeur, on March 7, 1820. Most of Elizabeth 's borother and sister keep Fontaine as family name.

I did not receive you reply. I would like to know about the above person's family history. I have her husband's family and an extensive list of about 200 Beauregards who migrated to Colorado.

Thank you for reponding. Cheri

Odile Pion married Andre Dupre and had at least three daughters one of whom, Emelia Emma was born in St Hyacinthe Quebec and was living in or near Central Falls, RI when she married Joseph H Marcoux (also born in Quebec) in Jan 1900. My late husband, their oldest grandson, remembered visiting a farm in RI when he was a child (@ late 1930's) where only French was being spoken. Joseph Emelia moved to Waltham MA and raised 6 children there.
