Message: Hey..this is not my family. I am doing my family (Daniel millions more) understand the value of an older, mentally stable person. I ran into a Carl Pioch, while looking for a younger Pioch concerning some art. This man migrated to the USA as a minor, but had attended schools in Germany. This man is a jackpot of information...he has memories and information that goes back many generations in his family. He also has memories of historic things such as Lawrance of Arabia, who tried to sabatoge (sp?) the Germans laying down the railroads...and so much more. Someone realllllly needs to start (excuse the terminology) picking his brain...
If only I could find something in my tree so valuable! You are welcome to contact me at Dkatzmeeoow@aol.com
This mans name is Carl. His father was born Carl Otto Herman Pioch. When he got his naturalization, they changed his name to Charles Pioch. I did find his father (listed as Charles Pioch d. March 1962 under Ancestry.com SS Death index)
I hope someone bites onto this one....talking to him for 10 minutes has left me with goosebumps.
