Hello, my name is Georgina Pimlatt, and I'm researching Pimlott, Pimlet,
Pimblott, etc. My husband's family are originally from Lower Peover.
Although his line stayed in the Cheshire area, some of his earlier
anscestors also moved to Liverpool. Can you give me some of your family
names, as well as some of the years that you have, as I tried your Home
Page and difficulty navigating. I don't need a lot, just a few names and
places to tell me if we are dealing with the same tree. I just started
researching this tree about a year and a half ago, and have quite a few
certificates, some are for this line, while others are not. Thank you,
Georgina.

Georgina --

My father, George Roy Pimlott, was born April 23, 1930 at Race Course Farm in Wilmslow, Cheshire. He was an only child -- his father - Ernest, had a brother James, and sister Rosetta, and I some other siblings, who I can't remember (an Arthur, I think, and perhaps a Henry or Harry, or both). James had no children, and Rosetta's would have had her husband's name, which I don't know, but I think his first name was Henry or Harry? James married a Robinson, but she passed away young - they lived at Brook House, in Tarvin. Ernest, who was in the infantry in WWI, passed away in the late 50s, and my grandmother married the widower James, her former brother-in-law. They lived at Brook House for a while, but after he passed, she sold the house & kept the land, which is still in the family. We also have cousins in Shropshire, one was a girl who lost her eye during the Manchester Blitz - I have never met these people, nor do I know their names. My father's family all had family farms in Cheshire, I think my great grandparents farm was in Mobberly, there may have been another in Knutsford and/or Handforth also. Most of the Pimlotts (about 200 yrs) in my family are buried in Prestbury, in the churchyard. The latest was my grandmother, Hannah who passed in 1985 and is buried with Ernest, my grandfather. I would love to connect the dots, as I'm the last Pimlott on my branch of the tree.

Hi - Just scanning the internet on this quiet Saturday in New Jersey and I found your note.
My great-grandfather, Joseph Pimblott was also from Macclesfield England. My grandfather Joseph Pimblott married Bridget Kelly and lived in Paterson, NJ. They both worked in the silk mills in Paterson. One was a jacquard weaver and he was a loom fixer. I understand there were these kind of mills in Maclesfield.
If you have any info on this Joseph in your family tree, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks,
