Conrad Pilar md. Elizabeth Shenberger d/o John whose will was probated in Yorik Co, PA 15 Nov. 1799. Is anyone searching this line?

I have been reseaching my grandfathers name and have tracked it to Levor Slovakia where I have found many with that name. It has been spelled Pilar,Pillyar,Pellar depending on which languge used in the records. some are in Latin,Hungrein,Rusyn,and Slovak.

My ancestor was naamed Conrad Byerly other variants. English clerks were very bad about German surnames or others that they did not understand. I do not think that he was a Piarly or variant but merely the clerk. Hope this helps. 2001 may answer all the questions?
