John Pike came from England on ship "James" in 1635-he was an attorney. settled in Ispswich, Mass-moved to Newbury and later to Salisbury. Married to Sarah Washington--five children-second child Robert and third John.
John and Sarah were ZMP's 3rd ggrandparents.

Second child, Robert remained in Mass. Known for refusal to sentence people accused of witchcraft.

Third son, John-wife unknown-were ZMP's 2nd ggrandparents. Lived in Woodbridge, N.J. their son, James was married to Mary Herriot. James and Mary were ZMP's grandparents.

James and Mary's son, Zebulon married Isabelle Brown. They were ZMP parents. Zebulon Pike died in 1834 in Dearborn County, Indiana--lived next door to William Henry Harrison.

Zebulon Montgomery Pike married Clarissa Brown-a cousin. Zeb was 5 feet-6 inches tall-blue eyes and light wavy hair and was a ladies man
Their daughter married son of William Henry Harrison. This William became President of U.S.

William Pike I'm looking for I believe to be the son of James Brown Pike, brother to ZMP, who died and is buried in Kirkville, Iowa.
