Ephraim Pike of Pasquotank Co., NC
I am trying trace the lineage of my g-g-g-grandfather Ephraim Pike, born 1824 in Pasquotank County, NC. He married Buelah Ann Yates in 1850 and moved to Indiana about a year later. They had 10 children (7 surviving to adulthood), including my g-g-grandfather Nathan Henry Pike, born 1853 in Henry County, Ind. He married Locky Van Arsdale Rifner. They had my g-grandfather, Will C Pike, born 1877 in Indiana. He married Myrtle Claytor in 1902, I think. They had my grandmother, Ruth Virginia Pike Pieroni, born Jan, 4, 1911.
Census date show Ephraim's parents were born in North Carolins, but since cencus information did not list the name sof children prior to 1850, I have no way of knowing who is parents are.
In addition, no one seems to have my Ephraim in their family tree. I'd like to break through this brick wall, so any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have been trying to figure out the death dates for Ruth Virginia Pikes parents who were Will C Pike and Myrtle Clayton, do you know when and where they died?

Re: Ephraim Pike of Pasquotank Co., NC
There's a good chance we are from the same Pike line. my Pike ancestors were in Pasquotank, NC and moved to Henry County, Indiana in the early 1800's. I don't have Ephraim in my tree. I do have several Nathan's, but none born in 1850
