II need help with obituaries birth and marriage records in MA and CT.
First Impi Piispanen she was my grandmothers sister. She emigrated from Kivijarvi Finland in 1900. Her father had emig in 1893 and settled in Quincy Ma. His name was Lauri Piispanen. Besides my grandmother Sylvi Mari dob Feb 17, 1888, and Impi Nov 7 1890 most of Lauri's other children also emigrated and most likely, at least originally stayed with their father. Their names were Einar(March 7 1882) Wilho(Vilheim)(Nov 8 1883,) Aliina Elviria (Aug 14 1886) and Juho Rikkard who was a 1/2 sibling(Lauri's first marriage ) dob June 22 1877. All the children, as well as Lauri had been born in Kivijarvi Finland. I also know that my grandmother married Alfred Nelson also from Kivijarvi (July 1888 aprox) his parents were Frank Nelson and Maria Nikula. Don't know when or if they emigrated. Would like to learn more about them.
Onni Jutila emigrated first I believe to Rockport Ma but at somepoint moved to Quincy Ma area where he met, and married Impi Piispanen.
Now, its here I really need your help if possible. I believe when they moved(Impi and Onni)moved to CT, they lived on
Black Point Rd in Niantic CT, (their grandaughter Connie may be living in the same house/neighborhood today). Impi died in 1980, (don't know when Onni died) in the Waterford? area of CT. Impi and Onni had at least four children: Fred who I think married a woman named Irene.(Connie's parents) Edwin, James and Ella. I don't know anything about when they were born, who they married or the children. I havve met some of them many years ago, but was to young to recall who was who etc? I am sure Fred, Edwin,James and Ella are all deceased now but hope that their children, grandchildren may still be in area.
Onnie emig in 1901 with his mother Kaisea, and sister Helmi who was older than him.
