Hyacinth Pigeon, Jr. (Male)
I'm looking for relatives/descendants of Hyacinth Pigeon, Jr.(male), who lived in St. Louis area in mid-19th century. He had a brother, Alexander "Pigeon" Valle, who owned an important trading post on the Santa Fe Trail. He and the trading post were significant in history and I would appreciate any help. Thanks, Andy Young

Re: Hyacinth Pigeon, Jr. (Male)
What have you discovered in regards Hyacinth Pigeon (aka Alexander [or Alejandro] Valle)? I live some 12 miles from the old ranch and am interested in the history of both the name and the old Alexander Valle land grant.

Re: Hyacinth Pigeon, Jr. (Male)
There is an 'Encher' Pigeon (aka Alexander Valle) on record as being the owner of the Pigeon Ranch. Please be aware that 'L'enchère' in French means to 'bid' and it appears that there may be some connection to New Brunswick in this line.

Hi, somewhere in my files, I have a Hyacinthe Pigeon, born July 21st, 1811 surely not far from St-Constant, Que, as his parents, Charles and Suzanne Laplante, married there in 1801. Would it be the same Hyacinthe, the father of Jr? If so, please indicate his infos (marriage, wife, place, etc.)
