Looking for information on Ozine/Ozina Pigeau. She was married to Henri Champagne. They had children named, Roscoe, Louis Henri, Hurgel, and Gerald. They lived in Green Bay Wisconsin, and in a place called Cheswick. I don't know if that is in Canada or the States. Henri was supposed to have been born in the Gaspe. Looking for any information, birth, marriage, death, family. Thanks everyone

Since you don't have any dates I'm not sure if this will help you. I'm also researching Pigeau and my great grandparents were Pierre Pigeau and Mary Anne Bechamps who farmed in the Chiswick area in Ontario, Canada. They had a daughter named Ohesme Pigeau, b. 1873, who married a Henry Champagne. I have no other information on them, but if you think they may be the ones you're looking for I can send you more info on her family.

Hi, My Father was Roch Daniel Champaigne, descended from Hurgel, who was born in GreenBay, Stateside; Descended from Henri, Wife (nee: Onsene Pigeau daugther of PierrePigeau) Henri was the son of a Henri Champagne... and that is where I loose the trail. But I suspect Henri could have been the son of Noel Champaigne QU, but I'm not sure. My dad renamed us Champaigne because he understood that a Great parent was named Champaigne. Where he got this from is not clear. Chiswick or Chiswich is not listed but lies near East Ferris & Chisolm twp. I want to find more information on the Pigeau's. I think Onsine or Onsene is the proper spelling, but the phonetic sounds much like Ozine.

I noted on a reply to Murray, that you have a line of Jessiman's in your tree. My husband's grand mother was a Jessiman. Peter Jessman b:1774 in Evenkirk married Elizabeth Ramey (1801) and had 5 children, William, John, Janet, Alexander and Ann. John Jessman (b:1803 Huntly) married Mary Fletcher and had 9 children of which Robert Jessiman married Jane Warson and came to Toronto. Robert is my husband's great grandfather. Perhaps this is in line with your family tree and that we are related.
