Are you of the Weithmans descended from Veronica Ann Pifher, the daughter of John Peter Pifher? I'm guessing this is where you fit in, but I have very little info on that line (which would be great however, if you'd like to share, because then I could fill in a hole there).

What sort of info would you be interested in from me? I have quite a lot, and I'm getting more all the time. Send me an email if you'd like to get in touch.

Hi Amy, I understand you're just starting. This is great that you're from the Oregon Pifher line. I have yet to contact anyone from that branch. Send me an email and tell me what sort of research you've already done. I can give you tips on places to go, and also obviously send you all sorts of information. Shoot me over an email if you're still interested in exchanging info.

I've got Michigan roots pretty well covered, and resources in Kansas. Do you know about the book that came out in 2006? I haven't gottn it yet, but look around on the Rootsweb & you'll find how to get a copy.

Charles William PIFHER and his first wife, Rosa/Rose Teresia GOMOLL, had 4 children: Lucille R "Minnie", Charles Edward, Jerome Victor, and Magdelin M. Rose died on 20 Aug 1913 in Crawford Co OH, probably as a result of birthing Magdelin. Charles W later married an Irish woman, Mary Anna Marcella RAFTERY. She gave him 4 more children: Robert A, Francis L, Jacob A, and Mary A. Mary died on 14 Nov 1925 in Itasca Co, MN. Charles and his four younger children appear in the 1930 Baker OR census. I am connected through Charles' first wife Rose. Would love to exchange information - especially photos!
