Arend Pieters (1882) arrived with his wife Klaasje Zwaan (1887) and their children Aaltje (1911) and Willem Anthonie (1915) on Ellis Island 11 feb 1920.
They went to C.Swan, West Frontstreet 147, Plainfield NJ.
C.Swan was a nephew of Klaasje Zwaan.
The couple divorced 22 jan 1924 in NJ.
Aaltje Pieters was later a stenographer and changed her name to Alice Pieters.
She lived in a family (1930 census) with William Chamberlain, Catherne Chamberlain ( = Klaasje Zwaan?) and James (abt 1913) and Sussan (abt 1920).
In Plainfield lived also another nephew Cornelius Pieter Swan with his wife Stella and their children Rens and William.
I would be very greatfull to receive further information about my lost family.
