My grandfather, Joseph Pierce Goodrich, had a great grandmother, Frankie Pierce who married Edmund Goodrich in Virginia. Thought THEY died in Virginia, their descendants moved to Missouri. Their 3rd son was named Gideon C. Goodrich. Makes me wonder if they are cousins to YOUR Pierces, just with a Goodrich surname now?
