Holy crap!!!! Someone else is looking at my family.
Phebe Pier and Bernard Doyle are my g-grandparents. Yes that is only one g. Seems everyone in this line waits to have children.
Margaret Doyle (daughter of Phebe & Bernard) married Charles Wesley Barker.
Margaret and Charles had one son - Charles Bernard Barker - my dad.
I have in my physical possession the discharge papers from the Civil War of both Bernard Doyle and George Washington Pier. This is what got me started in genealogy.

I am very interested in a copy of Phebe's will and any other information you have. I am willing to provide you with scanned images of the discharge papers.

BTW George Washington Pier (sometimes simply called Washington) died in the war. The two discharge papers have remained together all these years and I had to research to find the relationship.
