According to the Social Security Death Index, Leo Peco was born 11/5/1910 and died 12/1966 Social Security Number 353-05-4913. According tot he 1930 census, his father was Peter Peco, born about 1872 in Italy, and his mother was Georgia Thibodeaux born about 1874 in Louisiana. You can get more useful information by writing to Social Security and gettijng a photocopy of the form SS-5 that he filled out when he got his SSN in Illinois.
This gentleman does not *appear* to be related to the Picou's, who were from France.
