Hi, Looking for information on a James Hartley born Oswaldtwistle around 1817. He married Ellen Pickup (born 1817 Oswaldtwistle) daughter of Moses Pickup (born Mellor 1798). James & Ellen had a son George (born Standerly Farm Oswaldtwistle 6/11/1841) BEFORE they were married and hence he retained his mothers maiden name when he got married. George is my great, great grandfather. Any info on this would be appreciated.
