Hi there I have Pickering in my line also (married into Ibbotson line). My link is with John Hardy who married Elizabeth Ibbotson in 1839. Pickering was witness on many Hardy certificates and I think a T Hardy was witness on one of the Pickering certificates. I also would be interested in any info anyone may have!
