The Pickel family that I’m a descendent of is from southern MO. as well as Salem, AR. Lucille’s father’s name was Jacob Lee Pickel and her mom was Elizabeth (Walker) Pickel. It is believed that a man with the name of Denny Pickel that lived in Texas is related to Lucille’s family. He may be the son of Denny and Lacy Pickel that lived near Rogersville, MO. Jacob and Elizabeth (Walker) Pickel had all their girls in Webster Co. MO. The girls’ names were Lucille Roxy Pickel, Mary Alice Pickel, Nora Belle Pickel, Clara Pickel and Harriet ‘Hattie’ Pickel.
