my great grandparents were Rudolph Picardi (deceased 1952) and Amalia Bottillo Picardi (deceased circa 1920; they were both from Naples, settled in Boston, assume they married there. After her death, Rudolph went to NJ w/ most of the children. Children were Guy, Philip, Charles (my grandfather), Josephine, Theresa (Borelli), Mary (Falanga)of Boston, Margaret, Julia (Luongo). Any help much appreciated

Hello, My grandfather's (father's side) name was Charles Falanga, his wife was Josephine. They lived in New Haven, CT. He died in 3/72 and she died in 6/96. I also had an aunt on my mother's side named Julia Luongo.

I just read your message regarding your grandparents Rudolph Picardi and Amalia Bottillo. If they were married in Boston try contacting the Sacret Heart Church, 12 North Square, Boston, Massachusetts 02113. Tell them that you want all the information they have, such as where they lived before they got married, where they lived in Italy, who was the Best Man, Maid of Honor, and who were their parents. If they have it they will send it to you at no charge but a small donation would be nice, $5.00 or $ 10.00. They were a big help to getting me started. I too have Pacardi's in my family.
