My grandfather's last name was Pica. He is deceased. He was born in Molfetta, Italy. We have not met and know nothing about our ancestors. Any suggestions on how to locate?
Thanks.

My grandmother was born in Italy too in 1900. Her maiden name was Jezzina Pica. She later changed her first name to Threase, after marrying my grandfather Pietro Perticarini. She originally came to Baltimore with her mother, brother Dominic, and sister Lucy. Her mother was Angelina, father-John. She was from around Naples. Parents then had, Joseph, Annie, Tillie & Tony here in the U.S. Most of the family ended up in Detroit, MI, except for my grandmother and her brother Dominic-they lived close to Wheeling, WV. Does any of this info fit into your family in any way?
