My grandfather came to the US in 1923 from southern Austria and resided in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. What type of information are you inquiring about?

Was your Grampa's name John and your father's name Earl? If so, your aunt Natalie's husband is trying to trace her roots in Austria. I only have three generations in Austria. Thanks for your reply.

Yes, those are my father & grandfathers names.

Hi - There is another Piber family that lives in Slovenia (next to Austria). My dad (Gusti Piber) came to the US, and now there are three of us kids that are Pibers - Nichola, Sonja, and Mark. Would love to know about other Pibers in US - we are a special group! Also, my brother recently visited Piber, Austria and found some Piber heraldry if anyone is interested.

Hi Pibers! :)
Here's another member of the family from Hungary.
Good to see that we're not alone!

Hi.
My great-grandfather name was Wladislaw Piber (Ladislav or Laszlo in Hungarian) He left Polesia (west Ukraine end Belarus) after II WW. He lived in Cracov, Poland and died in 1986.
His father (Franz) was an Austrian soldier in PrzemyĆl. I know that he came from a small town Piber near Gratz (Austria).
PS: Lengyel, magyar két jóbarát, együtt harcol s issza borát :-)
