It wasn't until my father passed away that I realized how important it was for me to locate as many distant members of our family as possible (which even includes relative in Italy). My father's brother and sisters have all passed on, leaving me virtually at square one. The message from Paula Piacente Rediker, who is my niece, is also interested in putting this together, therefore, if anyone has any information as to my father's family in Italy or the USA please help us.
I live in Yonkers, New York where my father's family settled when they immigrated from Italy in 1927 (to 1930). In the Park Hill area, living on Oak Street for many years. My father was born in the Abruzzi area of Italy, exactly where I do not know. He had 3 sisters and 1 brother all born in Italy. One sister and his brother were fraternal twins. My grandfather worked in City Hall shoveling coal into the furnace.

Anxiously awaiting your e-mail.

Patricia -- I am looking for ancestors from the Park Hill/Oak St. area around the 1910's & 1920's also. What are your grandparents first names? Your father's name?
