I found your brothers phone number in the phone book and will be giving him a call.
How interesting that he is opening an Italian restaurant. We will have to sample it as we do not have an Italian restaurant that serves buffet style that I know of in this area.It will be a welcome change and I hope he does well with it.
I will let you know when I contact him. My husband and I are anxious to meet him.
Thank you for the e-mail address.

I'm sure that he will be very happy to hear from you. He's a lot of fun. I gave my Aunt Ruth Piacente in Rhode Island this web site and she is going to get on, she knows the whole family history and where everyone wandered to. She's very excited.

Who knows maybe we are related after all.

I talked to your brother yesterday. He sounds like a real nice guy but then aren't all Piacente's nice ? He also talked to my husband Rocky and they had a few laughs.
We plan on calling him again and meeting at the restaurant in a couple of weeks for lunch.I just wish our daughter was here so that she could meet them too but she may be down for Christmas this year and then we may be able to have a Christmas reunion. Our son is in Largo, Florida and I will be telling him too.
You should get in touch with (Lynn) Linda Piacente Relyea again. I'm sure she would like to hear from you again.I will tell her about our upcoming meeting.

My relative, Joseph Piacente, was born in 1869,in S. Vito Sulione, Italy. My guess is that his
father would have been born in about 1849 (A guess). I got the microfilm of this village, and there are several Piacente families who have birth records there. I haven't been able to connect with any family as yet.

Rosemary Miller--Today I found this site for the 1st time. i discovered my son William Minnick had a message looking also for relatives of my father Victor Piacente. My grandfather was Antonio Piacente. I believe he may have been born around 1872.He may have been about 20 yrs. old. He lived in Hazleton,Pa. until his death in 1985.He was married to a Barbara Hazara. They had 13 children.
