Hi,
I'm not sure how your research into John Phythian has gone but wondered if there is a connection to my 4x great grandfather John Phythian. His daughter Mary married my 3x great grandfather Thomas Taylor in 1832 in Kearsley, Lancs. She was born about 1812 in Childwall, Lancs. Is there aconnection?

Hi Tony,

No progress for many years. I have drawn trees for most of the Phythian instances available in the records but there are too many missing links! I'd be interested to see your tree to verify what I have. I have a Kersley tree, one around Pemberton, another for Billinge etc...I'm just trying to sort out Ormskirk currently :-) If you could send to my email I'd appreciate? Thanks, Mick - mick@phythian.org.uk
