I have a list of all of Paul and Mary Phy's children, as well as Paul's 1808 Letter of Intent. This branch of the PHY family arrived in Philly, and for the most part stayed there or near by until after WWII. My gggrandfather Jesse George was their youngest child. There were 7 others. If you think you are part of this group, please contact me. Other children included Juliann, George, Rebecca, Charles, Elizabeth, and Margaret.
I believe his son George lived in Chester. Jesse was a park guard for the City of Philadelphia.

I have a list of West Laurel Hills Cemetery burials for a large family group containing related names.

I am trying to track the relationship of the Jacob Redifer (d 1858 at 68) who shares a single tombstone with Jacob and Margaretha Neff and who are surrounded by the Phy, Thomas, Smiths in that cemetery at the Philly-Montgomery County line. I descend from other Redifers in that cemetery elsewhere (and their ancestors in nearby Mount Peace Cemetery) and I am trying to ascertain what, if any, connection there is in this Phy-Smith-Thomas-Redifer-neff group to the Redifers of nearby Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

I similarly have just discovered a "Jacob Redifer Smith" burial of 1904 in Ardmore PA's St. Paul's Lutheran where I also find buried John-Sally Phy and many other Smiths.

Do you have more of a sense of these connections?
