Hi Everyone,

I've just found out that my 3x great grandmother, Ellen PHILPOTT was born in Kanturk, Cork in about 1838. She then moved to Wales and married James BROWN in about 1861 probably in the Pontypridd, Glamorgan area.

There seemed to be quite a few PHILPOTT's in the area at the time. Her mothers name was Jane. I believe Ellen had a brother called Cornelius, also from Kanturk.

Love to hear from anyone who might have a connection.
