How interesting. Mary Stanton is my (8th Great Grandmother) and I am descended through the females of that line. What makes you think that Ann being King Philip's daughter improbable? Of what we do know she was born in 1655, which was during the lifetime of King Philip. There is absolutely no record of who her parents were (If they were King Philip, I don't think the Starkweather family would keep those records, for fear of embarassment). She was disciplined for "lying" but the church never claimed what she lied about. The church kept pretty good records, why didn't they record that?
