I'm assuming that even if one discovered Native American DNA, it wouldn't necessarily prove a connection to Metacom, himself. Is that correct? He pops up in my family tree, too, via Ann, not Lucy, but I also have Apache on my father's side. Are there DNA tests that can distinguish one tribe from another? That would surprise me. Where can I learn more about the types of testing that are available and how much they cost?
