Hi again. You have the name of Elizabeth and Matthews off-spring. James was born in 1846. I once phoned a Phibbs in Ireland, and had a really good conversation with her. The person I was looking for was an Eccles Phibbs. Elizabeth was married twice, and her name was Keating. Thanks

I have been reading the information that you wrote. I am a direct descendant for them. My great-grandfather was the William born 1849. He married Agnes Banks on the 30th of June, 1871 in Kilsyth ,Stirlingshire, Scotland. William was the one who packed up and took all is family to New Zealand. They were miners by trade. Majority of them, lived in a place called Kaitangata, Southland,New Zealand. Most of the family still live in and around there. If anyone wants the information that I have, I will see that they get it,

Thanks Peggy
