Hello! Yes I think I can help you.
I have information on an Edwin Ernest Pheasant who had the following children that I know of, 3 girls, Jack, Leonard Edwin, and Percy Spencer Pheasant.Edwin/Edward migrated to South Africa following the footsteps of his cousin, who emigrated in 1898, my great grandad George Wm Peter Kitely Pheasant whose father George was from Bedfordshire. Your branch (if it is) was from the marriage of his brother Albert Pheasant who married Susannah Holliday in Kent around 1875. Anyway will send you more detail if you think this is correct, love to hear back soon.

Great to hear these are the "right" Pheasants!
I got my info from Douglas Haig Pheasant who used to correspond with us about 8-10 years ago regarding family history.
Albert Pheasant, who emigrated to RSA with his wife and children in around 1900,
had seven sons and one daughter, Kate.
Sons were:
1. Albert James (twin), b.1876, m Hannah James, 1908
Son: Albert Robert b. 1907
Whose sons were Eric b. 1929 and Owen b. 1933

2. Walter Frederick (other twin) b. 1876, m. Hannah Maud Vaughn, then later m Vera Timm, son Barry moved to Daisy Hill Queensland Australia.

3. George William m Emily Hooper, whose son was Stanley

4, Edwin Ernest m Maria Magdalena Holtzhuizen, whose children were the 3 girls, Jack, Leonard Edwin, Percy Spencer.
Percy had 3 girls again, and Spencer John.

5. Sydney John b 1884 m Florence JAne Rigby,1908 had 4 children, these were Douglad Haig's parents

6. Percy Harold m Florence Johnston, 1 son
7. Arthur, married twice but no children.

As far as we know all of them except Barry stayed in South Africa.
Will check thru my records for more of the descendants and get back to you.
You can contact me at alley@crusade.org.au for more direct contact.
Bye for now

...also....following further back up the family tree of George William Pheasant who married Emily Hooper: this info is condensed from Mr R G Hooper's obituary from the Greytown Gazette, 07-07-1924:
Emily's parents were Mr R.G Hooper (born at Stroud, Gloucestershire, England in 1841, arrived at Port Natal 1862 and journeyed by foot to Maritzburg and thence to Riet Vlei), who married Miss Jane Holiday and had 10 children, 8 sons and 2 daughters. He died at 83 in 1924. Living sons at the time were Oliver, Harry, Walter, Gilbert and William, and daughter Emily had married George William Pheasant. Eldest son, James H. Hooper, had died at the age of 40 (24-03-1918) of a heart attack leaving 3 sons and a daughter (Herbert Richard, Myrtle Jane, Norman Rex and Cecil James Hooper).
