ST. PETE BEACH, FL: "I have everything I want and more than I need." Content, Steve Phalor knew that his joy was not dependent on material possessions, but in the precious moments when he was laughing and smiling alongside his loving family and friends.

Stephan M. Phalor, age 41, of St. Pete Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday morning April 30, 2013 in St. Anthony's Hospital, St. Petersburg Florida, surrounded by his loving and dedicated family.

Born September 16, 1971, to Harold and Joan (Kober) Phalor Stephan loved the Boy Scouts.
A member of Mansfield, Ohio troop 121 Steve was an Eagle Scout.

After graduating from St. Peter's high school, Steve also graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in Business.
Steve sold furniture for Sofa Express and was instrumental in expanding their business to other markets.

Steve was active in St. Peters Catholic Church and was a member of the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce.

Having an eagerness to learn, Steve continued his education at Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and earned his Law Degree.

After moving to St. Pete Beach, Florida Steve invested and helped in the operations of two restaurants.

Described as a family man Steve enjoyed life and laughed easy.

He is survived by his parents Harold and Joan Phalor of Ontario, Ohio; sister Cynthia (John) McCue of Clarkston, Michigan, brother Michael (Sherrie) Phalor of Mansfield, OH; nieces Ann (Jeremy) Bise, Amanda (Dan) Van Harlingen, Kristen Daughtery, Katherine Phalor, Lisa (Kevin) Ives, Stephanie (Brian) Chattin, Jennifer McCue; nephews Nicholas and Jacob Phalor; numerous great nieces and great nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Matthew and Norman Phalor and nephew Bradley McCue.

The Phalor family will receive friends Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 2-4pm in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday at 10am in St. Peter's Catholic Church.
Burial will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park, Mansfield, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the B.R.A.D. (Be Responsible About Drinking) may be made through the funeral home.
