I recently bought a group of old photos from an antique dealer in Washington state.

One of the photos in it has writing on back:
"Yours Respectfully
Daniel M. Phalan"

It was photographed in Boston by Wardwell.

Contact me at Bronsch@integrity.com if this might be your lineage.

Bill, I have just found a connection to my Phalon/an family. I have been looking for Daniel Phalon/an. He is I think, sibling to my gggrandmother Mary Phalon Foley. I found them living next door to each other in 1850. The spelling of the name seems to change wherever I see it...

Would love to see the picture of have it if no one else has claimed it....

my email is judyp1955@aol.com

Thanks for your help.

Judy D.

I just came across your email about Daniel M. Phalan photo from Boston. My family has a Daniel Phalan (father: Martin, possibly the M?) who lived there between 1805-1880. Do you still have the photo? Did you come across any others with "Phalan" on it?

Look forward to hearing from you.
