I have a printout from the Cork Historical and Archaeological Society concerning Colonel Robert Phaire,"Regicide". It was written by W. H. Welply, and concerns Phaire's' ancestors, history and descendants.
I was given it when
I was in England researching my own branch of the Phairs who moved fom Ireland to Yorkshire and then to Lancashire.
The one thing that keeps popping up in my searches is that my family seem to have been cordwainers in the early days. I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else has found a similar connection.
