HI from another Phair in the woodpile! My family is from the Buttevant, Co Cork, Ireland area and had the "e" on their names for years and somewhere down the line it was dropped. So, by the time I was born it was just spelt Phair. A little history from line is that there were two Phair brothers that fought in Cromwell's Army and fled from England to Ireland. One settled in the Northern part and the other in the Southern part of Ireland. I do have relatives still in the Buttevant area. I have documentation to back up where the surnames of Crofts, Corban (Corbin)?, and the Pickering name come into play with our line. I am starting to get back in the swing of the geneaology research again and so is my father. Any info that you may have that you think is a connection, please let us know. Look forward to corresponding with you. You can email me at SwthrtPea@yahoo.com Have a great day and happy hunting.
