Kathleen, I don't think there is a connection at this time. Most of my records indicate that the family came to Canada about 1833 and came from Armagh, Ireland. If I later find a connection I'll definitely email you! Thanks. Kathy

Hello:

I have a connection to Phair family in McKillop/Biddulp/etc in Ontario. William Phair (born about 1827 in Ireland) married Mary Anne Ingram (born about 1830) and came to Canada. I don't know where they originated in Ireland. They had 15 children, all born in Seaforth Seaforth/Biddulph or McKillop Township in Ontario from 1847 to 1871. Maybe your Anna Fair/Phair is a sister to my William Phair?

Yes, William is her brother. Her father was also a William. How do you connect into the line?

Hello Kathy:

William Phair is my great, great, grandfather on my mother's side. His wife Mary Anne died in Ontario in about 1882 and William and most of the children moved to Manitoba. William died in 1904 in Snowflake, Manitoba. If you send me an email to dec@shaw.ca I will send you a file with my information.
