Hello George,

Terrific to hear from a new researcher of our line of Douglas'!! I welcome the chance to correspond with you.

I am decended from the Jacob Davies Douglas Sr. branch of your posting. My great grandfather was James Stuart Douglas, b 25 June 1836. He actually married a third time to Miss Susan Virginia Gaskins in 1896 at his ripe old age of 60 and had two more children. I have an abundance of information on this line as well as some of your Smith and Edwards line.

Are you related to the Lizzie Law/Otis Spear line of Baltimore, Maryland?

Though it is great that you posted all the wonderful information on rootweb, I am not very good at loading large files to that site. Would it be possible for you to contact me at my email address in the future?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Susan

Surnames: Phair/Fair
My Grandfather, Joseph Phair is from Cork. My Father William Phair (changed to Fair...NMI) moved to chicago, IL. William Fair born 1907. Joseph Phair remarried and had a son named John Phair; I've never found him. I presume John Phair was born approx 1925. I have gobs of names that date back to 1800's and I can't find the geneology right now. If you're interested, let me know.
