Daniel, thank you for your message. Do you know anything about Jane Phair? Siblings, parents? Our William Phair (1802-1865) had only one sibling that we know of - Thomas, who was a shopkeeper in Kildallen.
Seems that there were two branches of Phairs' in Killeshandra. They claimed that they were not connected. Seems unlikely.
They seem an adventurous lot as John Phair (William's son) came to Queensland in Australia in 1860's to work as a stockman, he then returned to Killeshandra, his son William Robert, then came out to the Victorian goldfields in 1890s'.
Maybe we can make a connection, somewhere.

Margery, It seems that I have a connection with Phairs' in Killeshandra, Co. Cavan who originally came from Co. Cork.
