Hello! Yes, my grandmother was Tilda Carlson. We don't have alot of info on the Carlson side of the family. Who is your grandfather? I'm excited to hear from you! Looking forward to sharing some information. Karyl

I am a relative. My mother is the daughter of Robert and Ingeborg Pfutzenreuter, 11/18/1914; she is still living.

Hello Karyl,

I'm still doing research on all branches of my family tree. We should compare notes again.

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply!

Thea's brother F. Waldemar Luhr was the architect who designed the Fredrikstad Domkirke (cathedral). Her brother Carl was a lieutenant colonel based at Gardermoen Air Force base. Their father Johan was an architect as well. He was on the building committee for the Storting, designed several churches and worked on a number of buildings on Karl Johans gate in Oslo.

Do you have any information abt Frederikke Wilhelmina's last names of Hansen or Halversen?

Where and when did Thea immigrate?

Thanks, Chris

Chris,

Thanks for the information. I do not have any info on Halversen or Hansen. Thea was married to Karl B. (Sebastian) Pfutz and I think they immigrated with the other brothers on the family ship, Fortuna, in 1883. They went to Hecla, South Dakota. There was the free homestead act and each brother got a certain amount of acres (160, I think). They are buried at the Hecla Cemetary. Let me know if you have anything else and I will do likewise.
Thanks,
Karyl

My name is Andy & my grandmother, (Bertha Hartman) father was Johann Jacob Hartman (1831-1906) was born in Switzerland settled in Alton in 1852 & was a wagon-maker.
I'm trying to locate any decendant's of the family which could still be in the Alton area. Should you have any knowledge of this please contact me. It would be appreciated
