Looking For Barbara Woessner Who Married Joseph L. Pfundstein

I'm looking for more information on the Barbara Woessner who married Joseph L. Pfunstein in Whiteside County, Illinois on February 9, 1897. He died July 3, 1913 according to a tree I found online, but she and their son Lester Pfundstein were living together and farming and appear on the 1920 US Federal Census for Jordan Township, Whiteside County. But I can't find her after that. She was 49 in 1920; could she have remarried? She doesn't appear on the Illinois Statewide Death Index, 1916-1950.

According to the History of Whiteside County, Illinois published in 1908, she was the daughter of Mathias and Christina (Haubreaur) Woessner. Barbara Woessner immigrated in 1892 with (or joining with) some of her siblings; her parents and her sister Christina Woessner apparently didn't immigrate. The book names the siblings who did immigrate as Matthias (I've seen him on censuses as Matt), John (who married Caroline Bort), Will (a farmer in Whiteside County), and Dora Schick (I have nothing on her yet).

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I'm working on a huge Woessner project, of Woessners in Carroll County, Stephenson County, and Whiteside County, Illinois.

Barbara was my great-great grandmother. She remarried a Fisch, which is probably why you couldn't find her. How do you know her? I'd be glad to share any information that I have.

Thanks for contacting me. Ben Woessner and I were working extensively on the Woessner family since July 2009. Sometime between October 3, 2009 when I left my message and probably this spring I found your ancestor Ferdinand Fisch. Here's a link to my Rootsweb tree:

Can you check whether my information is correct? And then please send me what you have on your end of the family, using the email address provided on the tree. Thanks. Ben and I have wound down our project, but will want to add this information.
